Mary, the forgotten middle sister - prim, moralising, musically earnest, but also isolated and yearning to be seen as accomplished. 
This tiara reflects her seriousness: cool toned sapphire colour gems (also a bluestocking?) and clean lines - no frills, no flirtation. 
 
Mary doesn't get many moments to shine, so it felt nice to give her a tiara of elegance and refinement.
 
With silver-plated leaves, grey pearls and crystals, on a silver-plated, handmade wire base.  Please note, as all tiaras are handmade, they do not cling on to the head and need to be pinned in place using hairpins, through the looped ends and along the base.
