Part of the Twenty Austen Tiaras collection. 
 
This tiara is a starry affair, inspired by Catherine Morland. Rather than leaning into her gothic fancies, I wanted to capture the other side of her nature - her wide-eyed wonder, her dreamy imagination, and her sense of magic in the everyday.
 
So instead of shadows and abbeys, this piece looks toward the skies: a celestial crown of stars, shimmering pearls, and light. Catherine was not only a heroine of dark corners, but of bright, hopeful dreams
 
Made with vintage pieces of jewellery, pearls, AB crystals and gold-plated stars, on a handmade, gold-plated wire base. 
Please note, as all tiaras are handmade, they do not cling on to the head and need to be pinned in place using hairpins, through the looped ends and along the base.
